I started making mezzotints in 1987, where I learned the technique during a graphic art symposium in Hungaria. Ever since I have increasingly specialized more in this beautiful black magic art (maniere noir) making my own images looming out of the dark.

Mobius ring
2015The print shows a ring that can only consist in 3 dimensions. From every point you seem to see 2 sides and 2 edges, but if you follow from a certain point an edge or side, it turns out, when you return, that you have apparently allso seen the other side or edge. In one word, an endless journey.
Meteoron
2015Big mezzotint, titled "meteoron". The Greek word meteoron refers to matters high in the athmosphere, between heaven and earth, and that is exactly what I want to show with this piece. It is the result of 5 months burishing and polishing a copperplate.
