A print from the series of works I made during my artist stay in Guanlan, China. A combination of embossing and mezzotint. The black is made manually by means of a mezzotint roulette, so without etching. The embossing has been etched in the plate. The white of the paper, the shadow of the emboss and the velvet-like black form a beautiful image.
